  12. Pinouts for the UC1147 CPU in the Uniden BC200xlt scanner....
  13.
  14. Note:  ! means "not,"  If a pin does not have a designation, its destination
  15. is given.  Ex.  "Gnd" means the pin is designated "Gnd" but "to Gnd" means
  16. the pins was unlabeled but connected to ground.  This info comes from my
  17. reading the schematic from the service manual--sorry for any errors!

  52.
  53. R(unknown) values were not listed on the schematic or in the parts list.
  54. (assumed) labels are based on the implications of other labels on the
  55. schematic.
  56.
  57. 15, 18, and 19 look like they could be interesting....
  58. And 41 should be interesting to people who don't want their scanner to
  59. "skip" certain frequency ranges....
  60.
  61. OSC1 and OSC2 are the feed in for the 400mhz oscillator.  This oscillator
  62. can be replaced with a faster one to increase the scan/search speed...but
  63. it will also decrease your light on-time...  And as far as keeping the
  64. light on all the time...one could connect a switch to the LIGHT pin and
  65. a VCC.  When off, it would function as normal.  When on, the light would
  66. go on and off with the power.  Watch out for short circuits if you do
  67. this...I fried a transistor on mine when I had a VCC to Gnd short....
  68.
  69. Happy hacking!
